Mental Health Week 2022
Club 90 invites you to #GETREAL with us for Mental Health.
The theme for Mental Health Week is the Importance of Empathy. All activities at Club 90 unless noted.
May 2: Kick-off Jam Session from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm: Come
down and play, sing, or dance to your favourite tunes. If you have
a music instrument, bring it along. At 6:00 pm, there is Virtual
Yoga with Strong Minds. Register at
- Tuesday, May
3: Join Sasha and Skylar at 2:00 pm for an Indigenous
presentation on truth and reconcilliation. At 3:00 pm, there will
be an inspirational rock painting workshop. There
will also be an online FASD Presentation with THRIVE at 1:00 pm.
- Wednesday, May
4: Beginning at 2:00 pm, we will be making bead bracelets at Club
90, or come to Collins hall from 2:00 to 5:00 pm for a Community Mental Health Fair with
information booths, presentations by various public health and
community services agencies, emergency services displays, and
activities for everyone.
May 5: Public Relations Officer Phillip Young of the Ontario
Provincial Police will make a presentation beginning at 1:00 pm about
Internet safety and security. After the presentation (around 2:30
pm), we will be making fridge magnets. Maplegate Women's
Centre will make an online presentation on Domestic Violence and
Femicide in Ontario at 1:00 pm. Register at
May 6: "Switch" it up at 2:00 pm for some fun-filled activities
with a variety of games and other fun activities. Then (weather
permitting), at 3:00 pm, we will hold a barbeque out in the parking
